Based primarily on Johann Zainer's Gotico-Antiqua, this blackletter revival takes the evocative yet esoteric letterforms of the gothic era, updating them for a modern sensibility. The overtly calligraphic flourishes have been sanded down in favour of a clean, brutalist expression of the blackletter influences.
